Steamed
Grilled Shrimp
Nguyên Liệu
- 1/2 kg of big-sized, fresh shrimp
- 100g of fat of pig
- 1 duck egg (with the york saparted from the white)
- 1/4 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate
- 1/3 bowl of seasoned "nuoc mam" (fish sauce)
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
- a little borax powder
- 4 spring onions
- 2 gloves of garlic
Cách Làm
- Cut the onion and garlic into shreds
- Remove the head and shells from the shrimps. Clean them and put in a large
bowl with half a cup of "nuoc mam" for a whilẹ
- Take the shrimps out and dry them with a thin towel. Then pound them in a
mortar. Season them with onions, garlic, pepper, MG, and borax. Ađ in the
egg-white and go on pounding until the mixture becomes smooth.
- Cut the fat of pig into long strips. Then pout them into the well pounded
shrimp. Toss the ingredient with a prestley until it is well darẹ
- Take the ingredient out of the mortar. Place it on a piece of banana leaf,
slightly press the surface to make the ingredient as thick as 1.5 cm
- Steam it in a steaming pot. When it has been well steamed, drain the face with
a towel, then spread the egg-york on. Steam again then spread the egg york one
more timẹ Keep on teaming without putting the lid of the steaming pot on
so as to keep the yellow color of the egg-york. (Rub the surface with yellow dye
if neccessary)
