Heat the oil in a small saucepan over a high flame.
Add the garlic and stir briefly, then add the shrimp. Turn the heat
down to medium and continue to stir as you add the remaining
ingredients-fish sauce, sugar, caramelized sugar, and pepper. After
you have added these ingredients, cover the saucepan and continue to
cook for 3 minutes. Uncover; half the liquid should have evaporated. |
