1 pound yard-long beans, stem ends trimmed

Heat the oil in a wok over high heat and stir-fry the
garlic until lightly golden, about 1 minute. Add the beans and
stir-fry about 3 minutes. Add the fish sauce, season with pepper,
and continue to stir-fry until cooked through, about 10 minutes
more.
