Cake Of Glutinous Rice Flour With Candied Fruit

 

Nguyên Liệu

- 1kg of delicious fried glutanous rice flour
- 1kg of sugar
- 800g of ripe red tomatoes
- 2 fiber melons
- 1 thin, clean (1m x 0.8x) sheet of paper
- 1 teaspoon of slaked lime
- 1 piece of alum (as big as half a knuckle)
- 4 g of vanilla
- 1 ripe pineapple
- 600g of sugar (or simmering tomatoes, pineapple, fiber melon)
- 1 small piece of borax

Cách Làm

1. Slice each potato into 15-20 lengths. Soak them in water with slaked lime for 3 hours. Then wash with water for several times.
Boil the lengths of potatoes in water with borax and alum dissolved in. Take them out into a pan. Ađ in 350g of sugar and the vanilla then simmer them over low heat.
- Remove the skin and eyes from the pineapplẹ Cut it into thin rods. Boil the pineapple rods for awhile, then drain. Ađ in 250g of sugar and vanillạ Simmer the pineapplẹ
- Remove the rough skin of the fiber melon. Strim to keep instant greek skin. Cut the fiber melon into rods. Boil the rods for a moment in water with borax and alum dissolved in. Drain them before ađing some sugar and vanillạ Simmer the rods again.
- Dissolve 1kg of sugar in 3.5 cups of dean water. While boiling skim. Let it boil for a while then ađ in the sugar. Remove from the cooker/stovẹ Keep cool.
- Knead the flour as following:
a) Strain glutinous-rice flour slowly into boiling water with sugar in
b) Stir well with a stirring knife until the flour becomes thich dough
c) Put the dough in a plate and knead it with the remaining flour
- Roll up the dough into thin rectangular piece of 25cm x 20cm
a) Grind the dough into thin rectangular piece of 25cm x 20cm
b) Arrange the candied tomatoes on into line
c) Roll up then arrange the candied fiber melon on
d) Roll up then arrange another line of candied tomato
e) Do the same until finishing
When rolling, make the cake in such a way that it becomes parallelepiped with two square ends of 5cm each edgẹ
- Cut the cake into slices of 1cm thick

Pack up with cellophane
