Stem Salad with Shrimp [Goi Ngo Sen]

8 ounces cleaned lotus sterms, cut into 2-inch
lengths
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons suger
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon chopped polygonum leaves (rau ram)
6 cooked and peeled shrimps
3 tablespoons cilantro leaves
2 tablespoon fried shallots
1 tablespoon ground peanuts
6-10 shrimp crackers
Cách Làm
Mix lotus sterms, polygonum leaves (rau ram), salt,
suber, lime juice in a large bowl. Using chop sticks to toss gentlỵ Then
place on a platẹ
Cut shrimps in haft lengthwise and put them on top of the platẹ
Garnish with ground peanuts, cilantro leaves, and fried shallots.
Ready to be served with Fish Sauce Dip and shrimp crackers.
