7 eggs
1 cup coconut milk or 1 cup heavy cream
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon each of powdered cinnamon, ginger, anise, cloves
1 teaspoon baking soda

Melt brown sugar with coconut milk, in a sauce pan
and boil for 15 minutes. Ađ spices and baking soda, strain, remove mixture
from heat and let stand for 5 min
Ađ slightly beaten eggs in a steady stream and beat the mixture until
smooth with a wooden spatulạ Pour through fine strainer into a preheated
greased loaf pan 8" x 3" x 4". Bake uncovered for 20 to 30 min in
350 F oven.
Remove from oven and let the cake stand for 15 min before removing from pan.
Chill in refrigerator for 3 hrs.
Serve cold
