Banh Cuon "Bánh cuốn"

Banh Cuon (Bánh cuốn): Rice flour rolls and/or pancakes sometimes stuffed with ground pork and onion. They are eaten in a variety of ways with many side dishes, including one out of a million kinds of Cha (Chả), which are Vietnamese meats spiced and flavored in a multitude of ways -often ground to a paste and cooked.

Bánh cuốn is a dish from northern Vietnam. It is a crêpe-like roll made from a thin, wide sheet of rice noodle that can be filled with ground pork and other ingredients. Sides for this dish usually consist of chả lụa and bean sprouts, while the sauce is mam. It is a light dish, and is generally eaten for breakfast. Although it is generally only found in northern Vietnam, it may occasionally also be found in Ho Chi Minh City.
